Virtual Restoration is intended to show constructions and objects that, given their value as heritage, require a reliable representation to serve scientific, pedagogical and advertising purposes.

Virtual Restoration has immense potentialities for supporting architectural and archaeological preservation pursuits, as it can depict structures and artifacts of great historical interest.

It is thus possible to have a three-dimensional, realistic visualization of historical constructions that were damaged by environmental factors or several other causes but are nevertheless susceptible of a virtual reconstructive treatment.
